I've never used Subversion version control. I've used PVCS for 5+ years ago and I'm currently using CVS, which is probably quite old fashioned. However, this doesn't mean that I'm not following what is going on in relation to version control systems. You'll never know when want you to move on...
For example take this input Subversion sucks... (via) from Andreas Jacobsen, which deascribes what you may choose of version control system in a distributed world and open source projects. Nice read.
